Three daily brain puzzles in one place

Unlike other daily puzzle games that offer just one challenge, Mindgamr gives you three distinct puzzles every day — each testing a different type of thinking.

🔤

Word Scramble

A 5-letter word is scrambled into a random order. Your job is to figure out the original word using only the letters shown. You get just 2 attempts and 1 hint — making every guess count. After each attempt green tiles show correct letters in the right position, yellow shows correct letters in the wrong position, and grey means the letter isn't in the word.

Numbers

Based on the classic Countdown numbers game, you're given a target number and 6 numbers to work with — four small numbers and two large ones (25, 50, 75 or 100). Use addition, subtraction, multiplication and division across up to 5 lines to reach the target. You don't have to use all 6 numbers. The game tells you if you hit it exactly or how many away you finished.

Cipher — coming soon

The third daily challenge is a code-breaking puzzle where letters are substituted using a daily cipher key. Decode the hidden word or phrase using your knowledge of language patterns and letter frequencies. Coming very soon.

Frequently asked questions

Is Mindgamr free to play?

Yes — Mindgamr is completely free. No account, no app download, no subscription required. Just open the site and play.

How often do the puzzles reset?

New puzzles are released every day at midnight. All three games reset at the same time so you get fresh challenges every morning.

Is everyone playing the same puzzle?

Yes — every player around the world gets the same daily puzzle. This makes it fun to compare scores with friends and share your results.

Is Mindgamr like Wordle?

Mindgamr is inspired by Wordle's daily format but with a unique twist. Instead of guessing a word from scratch you unscramble letters — and you only get 2 attempts instead of 6. It also includes a numbers game similar to Countdown and a cipher game coming soon.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes — Mindgamr works on any device including iPhone, Android, tablet and desktop. No app needed — just open mindgamr.com in your browser.

How does the streak work?

Your streak increases by 1 each day you solve a puzzle. Miss a day and it resets to zero. Your streak is saved on your device so it persists between visits.

What is the numbers game based on?

The numbers game is inspired by the classic Countdown numbers round from British television. You use basic arithmetic operations to reach a target number using a set of given numbers.

When is the cipher game coming?

The cipher game is currently in development and will be added to Mindgamr very soon. It will be a daily code-breaking puzzle where you decode a hidden word using a letter substitution cipher.
